Liquid Low-Pressure Units
AFD and AF filter vessels are designed to treat liquid streams. While design application is an activated carbon adsorption unit, the filters can easily accommodate a variety of media which include the removal of:
- Dissolved organics and special organics
- Suspended solids
- Dissolved minerals
- Oil and grease
- Dissolved and precipitated metals
- Catalytic reactor
- Bio-remediation contractor units.
Standard AFD Series construction is epoxy lined carbon steel with PVC internals. External coating is enamel (black). Standard pressure ratings 2-12 PSIG.
Standard AF Series construction is epoxy lined carbon steel with PVC internals. External coating is high solids urethane (grey). Standard pressure rating is 40 PSIG.

Standard HPP Series construction is fiberglass wound polyethylene with polypropylene internals. No external coating (natural). Standard pressure rating is 125 PSIG.
Standard HPAF Series construction is epoxy lined carbon steel with PVC internals. External coating is high solids urethane (grey). Standard pressure rating is 75 PSIG.
HPAF series filters are designed to treat liquid streams in a wide variety of adsorption applications. These units can be filled with activated carbon, greensand, sand/anthracite, specialty clay and zeolites to name a few options. Standard features include steel construction with epoxy coatings, efficient stainless steel internal collector array, forklift skid and lifting eyes. Optional items include ASME stamp, custom sizing and pressure ratings, seismic calculations, various liners for corrosion prevention.
