- VIRGIN ACTIVATED CARBON is recommended when drinking water quality is necessary. Tetrasolv provides coal, coconut or wood based carbons depending on the application. All activated carbons are quality tested for activity, screen analysis, density and ash content.
- REACTIVATED CARBON is a low-cost alternative to virgin carbon when drinking water quality is not required. This material is normally a mixture of coal and coconut shell carbons. All reactivated carbons are quality tested for activity, screen analysis and density.
- ION EXCHANGE MEDIA is available for specialty applications that require specific contaminant removal. It is utilized as both a primary or polishing media for many PFAS applications.
- MANGANESE GREENSAND can remove iron, manganese and hydron sulfide through oxidation and filtration. Once the oxidizing power of the media is exhausted, a small amount of potassium permanganate is used to restore it to full oxidation capacity.
- FILTER SAND is a high silica, low calcium/magnesium/iron product that is specified by engineers for the mechanical filtration of water.
- CRUSHED ANTHRACITE is an excellent medium density filtration media that offers longer filter runs, less head loss and better backwash rates as compared to filter sand.
