The VF, VFV and VFD filter vessel series are designed to treat vapor phase applications. While these units are typically utilized as activated carbon adsorption units, they can also accommodate a wide range of filtration media. VF vapor units come standard with a false floor plenum design which allows superior flow characteristics over traditional lateral systems. The VFV vapor units are round for higher pressure and vacuum operations. The square VF vapor units maximize square surface area reducing footprint and pressure drop. All tanks can built in stainless steel or can be Plasite lined for severe corrosive environments.
Typical applications for vapor phase units include:
Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE)
Off gassing
Odor control
Tank Venting
Biogas
The standard VF Series construction is epoxy lined carbon steel with carbon steel internals (plenum design). External coating is high solids urethane. Standardpressure ratings are 1-3 PSIG and vacuum ratings of 1-8 in Hg.
The standard VFV Series construction is epoxy lined carbon steel and PVC internals with external 2 coat system consisting of epoxy with urethane top coat. Standard pressure rating is 10 PSIG and standard vapor rating is 28 inches Hg.
The VFD Series of filter vessels are designed to treat vapor streams where flow rates are low and there is minimal flow pressure. Standard VFD Series construction is enamel lined carbon steel with PVC internals and an external enamel coating. The standard pressure rating is 1-3 PSIG with vacuum rating of 1- 8 inches Hg.
