VAPOR FILTERS
Low-Pressure Vapor Unit
The VF and VFV product line have the same standard and optional features as the liquid phase absorbers.
VFD, VF, VR and VFV filter vessels are designed to treat vapor streams. While these units are typically utilized as activated carbon adsorption units they can accommodate a variety of media. VR series utilize “radical” technology which allows for significantly higher flows and lower pressure drop than otherwise capable in a standard up-flow unit. VFD and VF units come standard with a false floor “plenum” design which allows superior flow characteristics over traditional lateral systems. The VFV Vapor units are round for higher pressure/series operations. The VF Square vapor units maximize square surface area reducing overall footprint and reducing pressure drop.
Typical applications for vapor units include:
- Soil vapor extraction (SVE/DPE)
- Off-gas
- Odor control
- Venting
Standard VFD Series construction is epoxy lined carbon steel with carbon steel internals (plenum design). External coating is enamel (black). Standard pressure ratings 2-4 PSIG. Standard vacuum ratings 10-18 in Hg.
Standard VF Series construction is epoxy lined carbon steel with carbon steel internals (plenum design). External coating is high solids urethane (grey). Standard pressure ratings 1-3 PSIG. Standard vacuum ratings 1-8 inHg.
Standard VR Series construction is epoxy lined carbon steel with PVC/carbon steel internals or PVC/polypropylene (radial design). External coating is enamel (black) or high solids urethane (grey). Standard pressure ratings 2-4 PSIG. Standard vacuum ratings 10-28 in Hg.
Standard VFV Series construction is epoxy lined carbon steel with PVC internals. External coating is high solids urethane (grey). Standard pressure rating is 10 PSIG. Standard vacuum rating is 28 in Hg.
